  WHAT HAPPENED?

  The England captain came very close to scoring his first goal of 2024 as he returned to action for Bayern Munich after the winter break against FC Basel in a friendly clash.

  Kane received a pass from Jamal Musiala on the right side of the penalty box and he attempted to slot the ball home with an outrageous chip from a very difficult angle but Basel goalkeeper Marwin Hitz pulled off a brilliant save to deny him from scoring.
