With that in mind, reports that Ramos is once again registering on the recruitment radars of teams in the United States and Middle East. He was linked with sides in both regions when severing ties with Paris Saint-Germain last year.
He opted to head home at that stage, but is now open to offers. Ramos spent two seasons working alongside Barcelona icon and current Inter Miami captain Messi while at PSG, while several major honours were collected as captain of a Real Madrid side that included evergreen Al-Nassr forward Ronaldo between 2009 and 2018.
Ramos must now decide whether he wants to head for MLS or the Saudi Pro League, with ambitious outfits in Japan and Turkey also said to be mulling over approaches for a man that has shaken off injury struggles to take in 29 appearances this season.
