Liverpool star Ryan Gravenberch has dropped out of Netherlands' squad for their Nations League clashes against Spain after picking up an injury.

However, while that wasn't the case in the Champions League and the FA Cup, the Dutchman's form cannot be disputed and he was expected to be a starter for the Netherlands national team in their Nations League quarter-final against Spain this week.

However, Netherlands have now confirmed that Gravenberch has been dropped from their squad for the international break as he is "still suffering from an injury sustained over the weekend" during Liverpool's dismal loss to Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final.
Gravenberch has started in all of Liverpool's Premier League clashes this season and has been a pivotal name for Arne Slot's side. However, depending on the Dutch midfielder's fitness, his streak could come to an end after the international break ends.
The Dutchman is now expected to travel back to England for further tests on his injury to determine his availability for Liverpool's Merseyside derby against Everton on Wednesday, April 2.
